Traditional estate agents act as a middleman throughout the letting process, preventing tenants and landlords from developing a relationship and often using underhanded tactics to create competition. LetBritain allows tenants and landlords to communicate directly, without high street estate agents obscuring the process with self-serving motivations.
While traditional estate agents can have hidden fees, LetBritain charges tenants a fee of £99 + VAT if, and only if, you find a property through our services.
Yes, you can look for properties by postcode and specify the radius in which you’d like us to search.
Once you’ve registered, you can set up a viewing by contacting LetBritain. Our team will then contact the property’s landlord to arrange a time and a date for the viewing.
On the personal side, referencing takes just an hour to complete. Ex-landlord and work references depend on the response time of the individuals in question.
After you’ve found a property you’d like to rent, successfully completed your reference checks and paid the reference fee, you’ll receive an emailed short-hold tenancy agreement, which you’ll e-sign online.
Once you’ve completed the reference checks and the landlord has agreed to rent the property to you, we’ll provide you with the necessary information for your move-in. You’ll then pay the first month’s rent and deposit and sign the contract.
